Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KaiLok (kailok.com) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to use KaiLok and to enter into these Terms. KaiLok is not directed to children.

3. Accounts

Accounts are created via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping it secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract content without permission.
• Reverse-engineer, interfere with, overload, or disrupt the platform.
• Use automated tools or scripts to abuse AI generation or other features.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, access controls, or security measures.

5. Your Content & Licence

You retain ownership of the original characters, stories and other content you create on KaiLok ("Your Content").

By creating or uploading Your Content, you grant KaiLok a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, and — for content you choose to publish — publicly display and distribute Your Content, solely to operate, provide and promote the service. This includes transmitting the necessary content to third-party AI providers to generate and translate it on your behalf (see Section 7).

If you opt to let other creators reuse a character, you additionally grant those users a licence to use that character within KaiLok, with attribution to you. This licence is separate from, and additional to, public listing. Licences granted here continue for content that has been shared or reused even after you delete the original.

6. Content Standards

You are responsible for Your Content. You must not create, generate or publish content that:

• Infringes the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of others.
• Is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or incites violence.
• Sexually exploits or endangers minors, or is otherwise illegal.
• Contains malware, or attempts to manipulate or deceive other users.

Fan-inspired or crossover characters you create are your responsibility. KaiLok does not endorse them and is not affiliated with any rights holder. We may remove content that breaches these standards.

7. AI-Generated Output

KaiLok uses third-party AI to help generate and translate text, images and video from your inputs. AI output can be inaccurate, inconsistent, or resemble pre-existing works, and is provided without any warranty of originality, accuracy or non-infringement. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing or relying on it, and for ensuring what you publish complies with these Terms and applicable law.

8. Credits & Payments

Some AI features consume credits. Credits are a limited licence to access those features; they are not money, carry no cash value, and cannot be transferred or exchanged. Credits are consumed when an AI action is initiated; a generation completing in a way you did not expect does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund. Pricing, credit costs and pack contents may change. Purchased credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase. Payment is handled by a third-party payment processor subject to its own terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The KaiLok platform — its design, software, branding and original non-user material — is owned by KaiLok and may not be copied, modified or reproduced without permission. These Terms grant you no rights in KaiLok's intellectual property beyond use of the service as intended.

10. Copyright & Takedown

If you believe content on KaiLok infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@kailok.com with enough detail to identify the content and your rights. We will review valid notices, may remove the content, and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

11. Advertising

KaiLok may display advertising through a third-party ad provider, if and when enabled. Ad content is provided by that third party and is subject to its own policies.

12. Termination

You may stop using KaiLok at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; private content may be deleted; unused credits are forfeited; and content you have published or that has been reused may persist as described in Section 5 and the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

KaiLok is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the availability of any feature, or the accuracy, quality, originality or suitability of any AI-generated output.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KaiLok shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of content, data, credits or profits, arising from your use of the platform.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold KaiLok harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page. Continued use of KaiLok after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
